Our Studio started operation in our home, (1977) here in the Turner School District. We purchased a building and relocated in the fall of 1999.Which was across from the Turner East Elementary School which is now Turner Recreation Commission.
John and myself are both Turner Graduates, (classes of 1968/70). Our home is still in the Turner School District. John joind the Kansas City Kansas Police Department in December of 1972. In 1976 he went into the I.D. Bureau of the Department, which since has been renamed C.S.I.. He grew to love the photography side of the I.D. Bureau. He became very proficient in photographying crime scenes and in the darkroom. John also had several letters written to his superiors from judges that sat on the court cases he testified at, expressing the high quaility of his photography. He also received recognition from surrounding police departments.
From there we started doing photography for people we knew and our business grew by word of mouth. I ran the studio during the day out of our home with our two children. While also running a beauty salon out of our home. After a day at the police department John came home and we worked the studio together.
John retired from the Police Department November of 2001.
We now have 5 beautiful grandchildren along with their parents. Greg (our son) his wonderful wife Lois
